CYCLONE OVER THE TASMAN

The Secretary of the General Post Office advises that the following navigation warning has been received:—
“There are strong south-east winds to gales on the central and north coast of New South Wales, with rough to high seas. Fresh southerlies and slight to moderate seas prevail on the south coast. “A severe cyclone, with stormy conditions, is still covering the north-east and central Tasman Sea, with its centre off Clarence Heads. South-east gales and rough to high seas are expected on the central and north coast of New South Wales, and fresh to strong soLitherlies and moderate to rough seas on the south coast and over the southern Tasman.”
