WHIPPET RACING
AUCKLAND WHIPPET CLUB A meeting of the Auckland Whippet Club was held on Thursday night, there being an* attendance of close on 100 members. Mr. Howell was chairman. Members expressed appreciation of the secretary’s report on the progress that has been made for the coming 1 carnival to be held on March 9 and 16. Mr. D. M. Dougherty (secretary of the St. Patrick’s Day committee) was welcomed at the meeting and discussed with members various matters of common interest to the two bodies.
