INKUM DUE SUNDAY.—Due at Auckland on Sunday from Bunbury, via Newcastle the steamer Inkum will berth at the King’s AVharf to unload the local portion of her cargo of hardwoods before proceeding to AVellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete. Russell and Somejs will act as the local agents. CORNWALL SAILS TO-MORROW. To-morrow at noon the Federal steamer Cornwall leaves Auckland for AVellington, thence Napier, to fill up for Home. The local agents, the New Zealand Shipping Company, expect the vessel to be dispatched finally from Napier on March US for London and AVest Coast ports, via INDIANOLO WITH BASIC SLAG. The New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised by radio that the steamer Indianola is expected to arrive at Auckland on Sunday from Antwerp. The vessel, which has a cargo of basic slag for discharge at Auckland and New Plymoinb, will discharge ,the local portion at tile King’s AVharf.
WAIPAHI CLEARS SUVA. Cable advice received by tile local office of the Union Company states that the Island fruit steamer Waipahi left Suva at 11 a.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due on Monday.
MAI MOA LEAVES COLON.—Cabled news has been received by the Shaw. Savill and Albion Company that the Maimoa left Colon on Monday afternoon for London, en route from Napier. The vessel sailed from Napier on February
TEKOA LEAVES COLON.—Cabled advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Tekoa arrived at Panama last Saturday from Napier, and left Colon on the same day for London. The vessel left Napier oil February 2.
SURREY AT NEW YORK.—The New Zealand Shipping Company lias been advised by cable that, the Federal steamer Surrey arrived at New York on Monday morning from Auckland, en route to Halifax and London. The vessel sailed from Auckland on January 29.
PORT CURTIS LEAVES NEW YORK. —Cabled news has been received by the C. and D. Line that the Port Curtis left New York on Saturday for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on March 25, and Heather, Roberton, Ltd., will act as the local agents.
DANGER TO NAVIGATION.—The Secretary, General Post Office, advises that the following navigation warning lias been received:—Shipmasters are warned that floating wreckage like top of deckhouse has been reported in Bass Strait, Cape Liptrap, bearing 0.16 degrees, 15 miles.
SOMERSET LEFT CURACAO. A cable message to the New Zealand Shipping Company reports that the Federal steamer Somerest left Curacao last Saturday for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain, en route from Wellington. The vessel sailed from Wellington January 26. MANUKA FOR MELBOURNE. —Leaving Bluff to-day for Melbourne, the local office of the Union Company has been advised that the passenger steamer Manuka, on her return from the Victorian port, via Bluff, Dunedin and Lyttelton. clears Wellington on March 22 for Melbourne direct. ULIMAROA FOR WELLINGTON. Leaving Sydney at noon to-day for Wellington, the I-luddart-Parker’s steamer Ulimaroa is due there next Tuesday morning. The Ulimaroa is the only passenger steamer arriving at New Zealand ports next week from Sydney. HERMINIUS RADIOS.—A radio message received by A. S. Paterson and Company states that the Aberdeen-White Star steamer Herminius is expected to arrive in the stream at Auckland at 6 a.m. on Monday next from Antwerp. The vessel is bringing a cargo of basic slag for discharge at this port, and will berth at the King’s Wharf. MATAROA REPORTS. —A radio message received by L. D. Nathan and Company states that the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mataroa is expected to arrive in the stream at Auckland at 5 p.m. next Tuesday from London and Southampton. The liner has passengers and mails for disembarkation at Auckland, and cargo for discharge at Auckland uhd Wellington. PASSENGERS FOR HOME.—The C. and D. Line motor-ship Port Alma, which left Wellington yesterday for London, via Panama, took the following passengers: Mrs. M. A. Hamer, Mrs. W. White, Miss F. G. White. Miss J. Cleghorn, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wililams, Mrs. A. M. Waterson, Mi's. B. S. Forster, Miss E. A. Old, Mrs. L. Batkin, Mr. C. Borrer, Colonel C. F. Guise-Moores. C.M.G. HORORATA TO LOAD. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Hororata arrived at Bluff at 5 a.m. on vv ednesday from Auckland to complete discharge, and to commence loading. The vessel vvill leave Bluff on Saturday for Wellington, where she is due on Monday, and will proceed from there to Napier and Auckland. The Hororata is to sail finally from Auckland on March 12 for London, via Panama.
ANGLO-COLUM BIAN TO-DAY.—The master of the cargo steamer Anglo-Col-umbia has sent a radio message to the effect that the vessel will arrive off Tiritiri at noon to-day. The vessel brings sluphur from Texas, which was loaded at Galveston, clearing that port on January 25. On leaving here, the Anglo-Colum-bian will discharge the balance of her cargo at Port Chalmers, Wanganui and Australian ports. Robert Millar and Co. will act as the local agents. TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO SERVICE.— The Waiteniata. from Pacific ('oast ports, arrived at Auckland on Wednesday. She will sail again to-morrow for Wellington, where she is due on Sunday. The Waihemo left Los Angeles on February 23. She is due at Auckland on March 1, at Wellington on March 25, at Melbourne on April 3, and at Sydney on April 8. The Waiotapu left Auckland on February 16 for Vancouver direct, where she is due on March 14. She will proceed thence to San Francisco and Los Angeles to load for Papeete. Wellington, Lyttelton, Melbourne and Sydney. The Wairuna, from Suva, was due at Fanning Island yesterday. She will proceed thence to Vancouver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles to load for Auckland, Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin. Bluff and New Plymouth. She is due at Vancouver on March 16.
The Hauraki left Sydney at midnight on Tuesday for Vancouver direct, where she is due on March 23. She will proceed thence to San Francisco, Auckland, Wellington. Melbourne and Adelaide. The Waikawa. will leave Sydney on March 14 for Newcastle, Fiji and Vancouver.
