BIBLE DEMONSTRATION

“EXPOSITION OF FAITH” An organised Bible demonstration, “for the exposition of holy and historic faith,” will be held at the Town Hall on March 14. There will be a grand procession before the meeting at the hall. As a result of a request issued by six ministers and six residents, there was a big attendance in the Unity Hall last evening to discuss the proposed demonstration. The meeting decided that, in view of recent pronouncements of infidelity in the Word of God, the demonstration would be timely. The statement agreed on as the basis of the gathering was: "Acceptance of the Holy Scripture as the fully inspired and wholly trustworthy revelation of God to men, and the final authority in all questions of faith and practice.” Those who will be asked to address the gathering are: The Revs. E. R Harries, chairman, J. W. Kemp, A. A Murray, Dr. W. H. Pettit and Mr. C. J. Rolls. A large committee has been formed for the organisation of the demonstration.
