(Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 10.37 a.m. WASHINGTON, Wed Charles chaplin, the film comedian, was stricken with ptomaine poisoning on Monday, and developed intestinal influenza. On Wednesday his temperature was 101 degrees. His condition is serious.
