“THE WHITE SHEIK” AT ROYAL
“The White Sheik,” the main feature of the programme being presented at the Royal Theatre, Kingsland, is a British International picture with an English cast.
In the leading male role is Jameson Thomas, and heading the feminine cast is the yoLing English actress, Lilian Hall-Davis. The story concerns the adventures of an English girl who is visiting friends in Morocco. She wanders out in the hills and is captured by “The White Sheik,” who, after saving her from the undesirable attentions of a foreigner, marries her after the custom of his tribe.
“The Water Hole,” the second attraction, is a Zane Grey story of a society girl’s privations in the desert. Jack Holt is seen as the star.
