HELP FROM METHODIST CONFERENCE

Two years ago the Methodist Church opened a cause at Wairou. It has been battling ahead steadily, and a church has been designed by Mr. A. C. Stewart, a Baptist, and retired architect, who also designed the Methodist Church at Ohio, Southland. The present position at Wairoa was discussed at the Methodist Church Conference this morning, when a telegram soliciting the supp members was received.

Sympathy with Wairaa was cxpressed, iind a special collection umony members produced u. sum nf money to act us the nucleus of a special subscription.
