CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
MEETING AT PAPAKJRA At the annual meeting of the Papakura Chamber of Commerce held on Wednesday evening, the president. Mi'. Alfred Willis, presided over a good attendance. The report and balance-sheet showed the chamber to be in a flourishing condition. Through its activities many improvements to the township had been made. The balance-sheet showed the revenue as a:42 9s 9d and the expenditure £2l 3s Sd. leaving a credit balance of £2l 6s Id. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. Alfred Willis: vice-presi-dents, Messrs. S. T>. Rice and W. A. Pavitt: executive, Messrs. C. S. Beechey, H. Watters and H. E. McEntee; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. F. McDonald: auditor, Mr. G. C. Hobson.
