At Flemington this morning on the tan Aga Khan (F. Dummett) covered five furlongs in 1.5?.. Kongini (A. Wilson) went five furlongs on the sand in 1.4}. Gleamlight covered a mile and a-half on the tan in 2.452- My tans assisted over the first mile, which took 1.51. Farrago took 1.52 for five furlongs, while Greener went three furlongs in 37}. Glucose, on the grass, did 11 furlongs in 2.31}. Coy Beau covered 10 furlongs on the course proper in 2.16. Mondiaga compassed a mile and a-half on the grass in 2.45. Brassart assisted the Cup horse over the last mile, which took 1.497. The last 10 furlongs took 2.16. Leadliglit beat George William over a mile on the grass in 3.44. Up the straight Crowdel (E. O’Sullivan) ran the best six furlongs in 1.15}. Figure (W. Cook) ran six furlongs in 1.16, and St. Ardent took 1.20} to complete a similar journey. At Caulfield, on the grass, Balmerino recorded the bast mile, which was completed in 1.42}, the last six furlongs being cast behind in 1.172. Mollison, looking well, cantered. Kalloni and Rosetta did six furlongs in 1.16, and Greenline covered a similar distance in 1.18, the first three taking 38.
Some Quality went 10 furlongs in 2.13}. Fairy House and Belle Gallante ran five furlongs in 1.27. Fission ran six furlongs in 1.18. Greensborough ran the best six furlongs of the morning, the time recorded being 1.15}. N. Percival has been engaged to ride St. Ardent and R. Lewis Greener in the Newmarket.
Violian galloped six furlongs in 1.14 a on the Flemington straight to-day.
