BIG SWIMMING CARNIVAL

DEVONPORT CLUB’S EVENTS

Next Tuesday evening, the Devonport Swimmnig Club will hold at the Tepid paths its second carnival of the season.

The events are:—Bßoyds Auckland Championship, 100yds Men’s Invitation Handicap, 50yd Ladies’ Scratch Race, 100yds Ladies’ Fuller Cup Handican 50yds Inter-club Handicap, 50yds Novice Handicap, 50yds Club Championship, 100yds Open Breast-stroke Handicap, 133 l-3yds Business Houses Championship Relay (teams of four), 66 2-3yds Pascoe Cup Dual Relay Handicap, 50yd Junior Boys’ Handicap under 17, 50yds Junior Girls’ Handicap under 17, 33 l-3yds Tiny Tots Boys’ Handicap, Corfu Dive, 33 l-3yds Tiny Tots Girls’ Handicap. Open Diving Competition. A. water-polo match between the two unbeaten teams, Waitemata and Mount Eden, will also be decided. Entries close with the club secretary, Mr. F. Langley, 54 Tainui Road, Devon port, on Friday this w eek.
