STAFF OFFICER’S TOUR
INSPECTING CAMPS AND REGIMENTS Press Association WELLINGTON, Monday. Major Eady, who has been sent from the British War Office as liason officer with the New Zealand General Staff, arrived at Wellington by the Makura to-day and will proceed to the South Island on Wednesday. On March 1 he will inspect the first battalion of the Nelson, Marlborough and West Coast Regiment in camp, and next day the Nelson College cadets. On March 7 lie will inspect the Third New Zealand Infantry Brigade in camp near Oamaru, and later, the Burnham Camp and Sockburn Airdrome. In the North Island ho will attend the A.R.A. meeting at Trentliam from March 12 to 15. He also intends to visit the Seventh Battery camp at Waipukurau, the 21st Battery camp at Rotorua, the Waikato military camp and the Hobsonville Airdrome. Before leaving for Vancouver he will attend the senior officers’ course at Waiwera which commences on April 4.
