Tlie real secret of successful tyre economy, and the real trick in getting high mileage from good tyres is to use good tubes, says a tyre expert in the “Goodyear News.” This fact Is either not realised by the majority of motorists, or else it is ignored. And motorists wonder why they are not getting satisfactory mileage from their tyres. One would not erect a new building on an old and weak foundation—there is not the proper support. Then why put a good tyre on an old tube. A tube that will not hold air will soon ruin a good tyre. A new tube Is very cheap compared to the cost of a new tyre, therefore it pays to get good tubes to save your tyres.
