WHIPPET CLUB ANGRY
HANDLING OF THE SPORT NATIONAL ASSOCIATION CRITICISED Press Association, PALMERSTON N., To-day. At to-night’s annual meeting of the Manawatu Whippet Club trenchant criticism of the National Whippet Association was expressed on its method of handling the affairs of the sport, but the club decided to hold over the matter of secession until the annual meeting of the National Associatiorif in August. In the meantime steps are to be taken to gauge the support likely to be obtained for the formation of a North Island association, with headquarters at Palmerston North.
