TARANAKI OIL COMPANY SHAREHOLDERS’ MANDATE Press Association GISBORNE. To-day. A Taranaki Oil Company report states that, the No. 2 Gisborne -well has been drilled to a depth of 3,370 ft. in shale. An Slin. diameter casing lias gone to 2,360 ft. Advice has been received stating that at an extraordinary meeting of shareholders held at Melbourne to-day, reconstruction resolutions were passed by large majorities, by both Australian and New Zealand shareholders. On the poll being taken the figures were: For, 292,046; against, 30,661.
