2,000 ATTEND RALLY

SUNDAY SCHOOLS COMBINE From 35 districts in tli© vicinity of Auckland, 2,000 children attended a combined service at the Town Hall yesterday afternoon of Church of England Sunday Schools. The Auckland Diocesan Sunday School Board organised the rally. The Primate, Archbishop Averill, was in charge of the service and addressed the children. With him on the platform were archdeacons and canons of the diocese and memebrs of the Sunday School Board. Many of the clergy were represented. A mixed choir of 200 voices led the singing, and the service was broadcast.
