KING ON UP-GRADE

FINE WEATHER STILL

SUNSHINE AT BOGNOR

British Official Wirelcw Reed. 11.20 a.m. RUGBY, Friday

It was stated at Craigweil House. Bognor, 1 his morning that the King had passed a good night.

The weather in the locality was sunny, with little wind, and early to-day the King was sitting at the open windows enjoying the sunshine and the air.

It is anticipated that the King will remain at Craigweil House for about three months, hut no plans beyond that period have yet been discussed. It was officially stated this evening that the King had had a good day. The sun shone brilliantly throughout the day, and his Majesty spent several hours at his window.

It is understood that the fine spell of weather during the last two days has already had a beneficial effect upon the King’s progress. Princess Mary was expected to visit Craigweil House to-day, but she did not arrive. It was later stated that her Royal Highness was suffering from a slight cold.
