TE AWAMUTU POWER
At the monthly meeting of the Te Awamutu Electric-Power Board on Friday, the power fund account was shown to be in credit £1,926 4s lOd and the loan account in debit £829 7s lid. Revenue for the month of September was shown as: General lighting, heating and meter rents, £1,017 4s Id; power, £1,291 5s 4d; penalties and sundries, £4l; street lighting, £44 7s 6d. The total was £2,595 16s lid, a gain on December’s figures of £450 16s lid. The manager reported the price of equipping the whole of the board’s lines with earth-leakage relays was £546. It was agreed that these safety devices were needed, and the manager was authorised to proceed with the scheme.
