RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
“DO YOUR DUTY” An enjoyable double-feature programme is now at the Rialto and Regent (Epsom) Theatres, headed by “Do Your Duty,” a bright comedy, starring the popular Charlie Murray. Other players in the cast are Lucien Littlefield and Charles Delaney. The story concerns a New York policeman who is trapped by a band of thieves and thus loses promotion. The manner in which he finally outwits the lawbreakers and is reinstated in his old position makes a thrilling theme for the film. “The Enemy” is the title of the second feature. This is a powerful drama
of the war, viewed from the homes of the common people, with Lillian Gish in the role of a soldier’s bride. Ralph Forbes plays opposite her.
