(Special to THE SUN) TAIHAFE, Thursday. Picking up their little child, Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Darbyshire escaped in their night attire from their blazing house at Tiriraukawa, near Taihape, yesterday morning. Nothing was saved. EMPTY HOUSE BURNED (Special to THE SUN) TAUMARUNUI, Thursday. An unoccupied three-roomed house about a mile from the Tongariro River at Tokaanu, owned by Dr. H. E. Annett, of Matangi. was destroyed by fire to-day.
