MAY PROHIBIT HOSES

HAMILTON’S WATER SUPPLY (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. The consumption of water in Hamilton during the past week reached the highest point since during the dry spell last February, about 1,300,000 gallons being used daily. With the present limited facilities, great difficulty is being experienced in maintaining the supply, and parts of the town are suffering considerable disability. Unless the position improves materially during the next few days it will be necessary to prohibit the use of hoses.
