The Public Hall at Waikiekie, also • a detached library building, with the | whole of its contents, was totally de- I stroyed by fire during last night. None I of the residents of the district saw the blaze, the origin of which is a complete mystery as neither place has been used for some time past. The hall was insured for £4OO, but there was no insurance on the library. |
