KENNEL CLUB SHOW
WINNERS AT WHANGAREI SUCCESSFUL FIRST PARADE (From Our Oven Correspondent) WHANG ARE I, Thursday. The newly-formed Whangarei Kenlel Club held its first parade show o-day at the Winter Show buildings. V very gratifying number of dogs was wenched and public patronage was excellent. Mr. C. D. A. Haynes, of Auckland, he judge, considered it a very good ‘xhibition, representing cjuite a high itandard, especially in the sporting lasses. Mr. D. W. Nelson, president, nd Mr. V. Simpson, secretary, congratulated the committee on its splenlid organisation. The president’s trophy, valued at C 3 3s, for the best dog in the show, ras won by Mr. M. Dog, Novice and Open: J. Millington. Stud: C. Reed. TOY DOG SECTION Mrs. Mansel, of Auckland, judged the toy dog section, in which the entries were few except in the Pekinese class.
