A NARROW ESCAPE
DR. CLEARY’S CAR STRIKES BRIDGE DRIVER UNINJURED (Special to THE SUN) COLVILLE, Wednesday. The Right Rev. Dr. Cleary, Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland, met with a motor accident about two miles from Colville last evening. He struck a bridge aud narrowly escaped going over the bank, the car tilting in a soft patch near the bridge approach. Bishop Cleary walked to Colville and obtained assistance to extricate the car. Bishop Cleary was unhurt and a dented bumper was the only damage to the car.
