Probation for Thief William Cumberland Green, charged with the theft of a parcel valued at 30s from Frankton Railway Station, pleaded guilty in the Hamilton Police Court to-day. He was admitted to probation for two years. Traffic Man’s Chase A motor-cyclist was fined £4 10s in the Magistrate’s Court to-day tor riding along the Mutt Road at 65 miles an hour. He had a girl-on the pillion seat. The patrol constable had to -do 74 miles an hour to catch him. * * * “Peeping Tom” Fined £.lo.—John James Turner, a moulder, aged 28, accused of being a “Peeping 'Tom'’ was convicted at the Wellington Police Court to-day and fined £lO, in default two months. A constable found him looking in a window where a girl was undressing. Ho believed him to be the same man as he had seen on a previous occasion.—P.A. Cricket at Warkworth An Auckland cricket team will leave for Warkworth to-morrow morning to play the representatives of the Rodney Association. The following players will make the trip:—Bowley (captain), Christian. Coates, Hetherington, Kilworth, Langton, Norton, Schnauer, 13. Webb, AVilson and another. * * * Broke Prohibition Order Robert Bellamy, who bought a keg of beer for a prohiibted person, E>. C. Curtain. was fined £lO at the Magistrate’s Court.
