TE AWAMUTU CARNIVAL (From Our Own Correspondent) TE AWAMUTU, Monday. The Te Awamutu Swimming Club held its second carnival this year at the Te Awamutu Municipal Baths on Monday evening. There was again a. good attendance, and the Te Awamutu Band enlivened the proceedings. Five competed for the South Auckland championship. The finish was very close, Bell winning by inches amid excitement. Among the competitors were a number of visitors from Hamilton and Cambridge.
