AFFILIATION WITH MOSCOW FRATERNAL MESSAGES SENT Times Cable . LONDON, Monday. The Riga correspondent of “The Times” says an application was received in Moscow from the South African Federation of Native Trades Unionists requesting affiliation with the Third (Communist) International. The executive of the International granted membership to the applicants “in view of the fact that these negro unions stand for class warfare.” It sent fraternal messages to the whole negro proletariat of South Africa. The. executive has instructed its international committee to draw up a letter explaining the Third International’s views on the native labour problems in South Africa the creation of a South African Negro Republic.
