A large embroidered motif, in the form of a' silver bird, almost covers one side of the bodice of the simple black frock; the full skirt is faced with silver tissue, thus forming a charming black-and-silver theme. The silver lame gown on the right is in excellent taste: fashioned on graceful cross-over lines and quite untrimmed, it is ideal for the older woman.
