MUST PASS EXAMS.
EXEMPTED UNIVERSITY STUDENTS | Exempted University students must i now pass the college examinations to ; keep terms, according' to advice reI eeivecl from the Registrar of the New Zealand University by the Auckland I College Council yesterday. The Registrar of Victoria College wrote suggesting the following scale of ; fees, in view of the revival ol' term | examinations for exempted students: Exemption fee of £1 Is, due not later ! than May 1. except with late fee of !£1 Is, up to August 31. Examination fees, £1 Is each subject, due not later | than August 15, except with late fee of £ 1 Is up to August 31. The Auckland Council excepted the i suggestion, leaving the Registrar, Mr. R. O'Shea, to decide the dates. “The only way we have of letting : exempted students know that they have to pass the examination is through the Press,” said Mr. O'Shea.
