TWO COMEDIES AT BRITANNIA
Comedy, mixed with a generous measure of romance and excitement, is the background of the picture, “Do Your Duty,” now being shown at the Britannia Theatre. Charlie Murray is the chief player, and appears as a cheerful policeman who is always In trouble. H e i s tricked by a gang of thieves, loses his promotion, gets in a tight pinch in a jewellery robbery, and finally captures the miscreants. There is n strong love element in the story when his daughter falls in love with a young police sergeant, portrayed by Charles Delaney. “Xot Quito a Lady” is the secord feature. This is a comedy of a musical comedy actress and her adventures with a haughty, aristocratic family, and is based on the well-known play, “The Cassilis Engagement."
