FIRE CHIEF HONOURED

PRESENTATION AT TE AWAMUTU (Special to THE SUN) TE AWAMUTU, Saturday. The approaching marriage of DeputySuperintendent B. F. Morris, of the Te Awamutu Fire Brigade, was recognised in fitting fashion by his colleagues on Thursday evening, at a social function. He was presented with a beautiful salad bowl and silver servers. Superintendent T. Narbey, in making the presentation at a social function on Thursday evening, referred to Mr. Xlorris’s keen interest in firefighting during his six years’ residence in Te Awamutu —first as a firemen, then as secretary, and now as deputysuperintendent.
