CHEERY OLD AGE.—An old folks’ reunion was Held at Birkenhead on Saturday. Here we see two of the oldest North Shore residents present: Mrs, Blomfield, aged 87, and Mr. Tout, aged 90. Both were presented with tokens and bouquets.

ASSENGER STEAMER WRECKED.—The Huddart Parker chartered steamer Kanowna, 6,983 tons, was wrecked on Cleft Island, near Wilson’s Promontory, Southern Victoria. The latest news gave her position as precarious.
