“Mussolini —Man Whom Providence Brought to Our Path,” Says Pope
(United Service) Received 9.5 a.m. ROME, Friday. A MAN whom Providence hais brought into our path,” is how his Holiness the Pope referred to Signor Mussolini, in a speech to a deputation of professors and students of the Milan Catholic University. He again eulogised the settlement reached between the Vatican and the State, which he said “restored God to Italy and Italy to God.”
