There was bright sunshine at Bognor early to-day, but later rain fell. The windows of the King’s bedroom, which were opened for some time yesterday, had to be kept closed to-day. An interesting statement was made by the private secretary to the Duke of York at a luncheon in Lohdon. He said the King has begun to smoke again, and is also able to cut his own food. A bulletin issued from Craigweil House this evening states that despite the inclement weather, the King continues to make slow progress, and since his departure from London has increased in weight.
