COMPANY PAYMENTS The Whangaroa Dairy Company reports an increase of nearly 8i tons in the output for Jar%iary, compared with Januarv. 3925. The pay-out is at the rate of Is 4!d alb for finest and Is 4cl for firstgrade butter-fat. The grading at Auckland continues good. The Northern Wairoa Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., at a recent meeting decided, in view of the satisfactory position, to make a further payment of Id a lb on all butter-fat supplied since June 1, and to pay out Is sid a 1b for finest and Is 5d for first-grade butterfat supplied during February. It is estimated that a. total of £12.000 will be released by this further payment to be made on March 20. # The favourable conditions prevailing for the primary producers were reflected in the monthly report of the East Tamaki Dairy Co-operative Company, when it was stated that the pay-out on February 20 for the month of January will total £12.067 17s 4d. One shilling and sixpence farthing a pound butter-fat will be paid for finest. 1s 53d for first, and Is 43d fop second-grade, all plus an additional Id a lb to shareholders. The total make for the month was J51,4971b, which is an increase of 95.40 per cent, over the corresponding period of last year. A phenomenal increase in the aggregate output of the dairy factories of the Morrinsville district is expected for the current season. To the end of January the output of the Morrinsville Dairy Co. was BSS tons of butter, compared with 660 tons for the corresponding period of last season. The increase in January alone was 58 per cent., and the indications ar* 1 tha t February will show 90 per cent. The secretary estimates that the 1,000-ton mark will be reached before the end of the season.
