KING HAS A GOOD DAY
CHEERFUL DESPITE GREY WEATHER ON AN ORDINARY DIET (United P.A. — By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 11.15 a.m. RUGBY, Tuesday. It is officially announced at Craigweil House, Bognor, that the King has had a good day, and that his Majesty’s condition continues satisfactory. Dr. Hewitt and Dr. Woods, who applied ray-therapy treatment to his Majesty at Buckingham Palace, visited Craigweii this afternoon, and again administered treatment. It is learned that the Queen hopes to go to London next week to visit the British Industries Fair.
Yesterday’s sunshine at Bognor has given place to grey skies and a bleak wind.
The King, however, is cheerful. He is able to read the newspapers now. He is on an ordinary diet, so he is getting ample nourishment, though he is kept, abed in order to avoid the possibility of a chill.
