BLENHEIM OIL SHARES (United P.A.—By Telegraph Copyright) SIDNEY, Wednesday. On the Sydney Stock Exchange today odd lots of Blenheim Oil shares were quoted at 60s. The closing sale was made at 57s 6d. A published statement to the effect that oil had flowed at the rate of 4,000 gallons an hour for only a minute and a-half caused surprise, and the market accordingly was depressed. A parcel of Taranaki shares sold at 4s.
