MEMORIES OF GALLIPOLI

G.O.C. WILL WATCH LANDING

To-morrow memories of the historic landing on Gallipoli will be revived for Major-General R. Young, G.O.C. New Zealand Forces. He will watch the military manoeuvres at Red Beacix from the land. This morning General Young said that the landing at Red Beach would be rather reminiscert of Gallipoli. On that occasion he saw the operations from the sea. Several members of the General Staff in Wellington have arrived for the mimic battle. To-day General Young visited the camp at Narrow Neck and watched some of the preparations which are being made.
