A WIFE WITH A “PAST”
A mother is naturally interested in her only son’s selection of a wife, particularly when tlm wife has to play ! her part in “county” life. Mrs. WhitI taker was intensely annoyed when her son, John, introduces a stranger to th - j family circle as his wife. Mutters i were made much worse when the wife ! would not reveal her past. An Larita. although innocent, had a “past” t * hide. Eventually mother and sister stumbled upon the ugly past, and the fat was in the fire. This is the pivot i of the plot upon which “Easy Virtu**” | turns, and it affords charming entertainment. This British Dominion * Films release has a notable <asi. headed by Isabel Jeans and Erie Bransby Williams.
Following “The Divine Lady,” i*| which she plays the historic Lad? Hamilton character in a romance patterned on E. Barrington’s novel. Corinne Griffith will make a picture j called “The Outcast.”
