Farmers’ butter has not changed in price in the markets. It is bringing 1s 1d to 1s 4d. The shop value of first grade factory butter is 1s 9d a lb, and second grade 1s Bd. There are moderate supplies. Forequarter of lamb is selling at 1s 1d a lb in the shops; loin and hindquarters, 1s 3c; leg, 1s 4d; leg of mutton, 9d; hindquarters, 9d; forequarters, 7d; shoulders and necks, 7ld; leg and loin chops, lid; neck chops, 8d; trimmed cutlets, 1s 1d; prime rib of beef, 7d; corned round and beef steak, 8d; suet, gravy beef and sausages, 6d; rump steak, Is 2d; sirloin, 10d; chuck rib, 7d.
