HUIA DAM ACCIDENT
While working on the Huia Dam yesterday afternoon, a City Council labourer, Thomas J. Cooper, had one or his ankles broken by a fall of earth. He was carried on the tramway to the foot of the Huia Valley, and was there met by an ambulance and taken to the Auckland Hospital.
