TRANSPORT MINISTER
MR. VEITCH APPOINTED BOARD TO BE SET UP Press Association WELLINGTON, Monday. The Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, announced to-day that Mr. W. A. Veitch had been appointed Minister of Transport. A conference of interested bodies will be held shortly, when a transport board would be set up. The board would deal with all questions affecting motor vehicles, but not with the contributions under the Main Highways Act. .
