NEW DESIGN NECESSARY There Is every chance that the new IWiau bridge will be commenced very shortly. Mr. TV\ L. Titchener, chairman of the New Lynn Town Board, waited on the Highways Board yesterday and was advised that the Marine Department required a three-span bridge *'ith sufficient clearance, the centre span being so constructed that it could be replaced so far as the overhead gear was concerned if necesf°r canal purposes, h J he next thing is for the local oates to get together and agree with us on the design,” remarked Mr. A. k- Jull. the chairman. Mr Tichener assured the board that J»o time would be wasted on the Plans.
