KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR
FATHER AND DAUGHTER HURT
When Mr. H. Arnold, of 31 Armidale Road, Remuera, and his seven-year-old daughter Lois were crossing from one of the safety zones in Newmarket to the footpath yesterday afternoon they were knocked down Dy a motor-car.
The child had her left arm broken and Mr, Arnold was badly bruised. They were taken to hospital by the St. John Ambulance. Mr. Arnold was treated as an out-patient and allowed to go home. The little girl who is still in hospital, is not in a serious condition.
