MECHANIC SENTENCED

THREE YEARS’ GAOL PAWNBROKER ROBBED “You have such a record that you stand a good chance of being declared a habitual criminal if you appear before a court again,” said Air. Hunt, a mechanic, who was remanded for sentence from earlier in the week, was found guilty in connection with the theft of a quantity of jewellery and sundry articles, valued at £l2O, from Meltzer Bros., pawnbrokers, Victoria Street, on the night of June 25 last.
