SUNBEAM Jessie Milne, who recently left Auckland for San Francisco, has had a story published in the children’s page of the San Francisco “Chronicle” of January 6. Her photograph appeared in that paper the previous week. Sunbeam Joan Brookfield, of St. Heliers Bay, wrote the prize-win-ning esaay in a competition connected with the sale of the book, ‘‘Patty Who Believed in Fairies.”
