Sir Arthur Ducklmm, chairman of the “Big Four’’ Economic Commission, before embarking in the Niagara for England, left a message for Australians, declaring: “The growth and future prosperity of Australia is assured. Our report, however, has already indicated that all is not well with Australia. There will have to be readjustments of mental attitudes and methods. “The outstanding question before the people is whether these readjustments will be arrived at by political or industrial strife, or by the saner and more humane methods of mutual cooperation and conciliation.'’
