BRIDE MISS DOROTHY LISTER

Hammond, will marry Miss Dorothy Lister at Ringley, probably on April 21. The romance began while Miss Lister was on a holiday at Scarborough during Cricket Festival Week four years ago. Hammond was playing for the gentlemen players, and Miss Lister was among the spectators.

The “Daily News” has opened a shilling fund to give Hammond a wedding present worthy of his memorable test match displays. Mr. A. E. R. Gilligan, the former English XI., captain, subscribed the first shilling, and the proprietors of the “Daily News” gave the next hundred.
