FLOODS AFTER DROUGHT
N.S.W. RIVER TOWNS WARNED

Torrential rains which have fallen on the north coast of New South Wales during the last few days have caused the rivers to rise to alarming levels. As much as 14 inches of rain has been recorded in 24 hours.
The State meteorologist has issued warnings that there is a danger of floods. These have been sent to postmasters of the north coast river towns. Further heavy falls are predicted.
