No longer “Gene,” the champion boxer, but Captain J. J. Tunney. presents magnificent football trophy to British Royal Marines for annual competition. The gift was made on behalf of the United States Marines, (in which Tunney is a captain), as a return for the gift of a bulldog which the Royal Marines presented to the United States Marines a year ago. The picture shows Captain Tunney presenting the trophy to Brigadier-General L. S. T. Halliday, V.C., of the Royal Marines.
