WRESTLING MATCH

SUNNI TO MEET BAYNE The secretary of the New Zealand Wrestling Association, Mr. C. B. McCarthy. has received a written challenge from W. K. Bayne, of Te Awamutu. to meet M. Sunni, who at present holds all New Zealand titles, from middle to heavy-weight. Sunni immediately accepted the challenge, which will be contested for the heavyweight title and his stipulations that it is to be wrestled catch-as-catch-can stylo under the auspices of the New Zealand Wrestling Association were agreed upon. A side-stake of £SO or £IOO a-side has been put up with the understanding that the winner receives all, including the house takings. Thedate for the match has not yet been fixed and at present it is thought that it w ill probably take place at To Awarautu.
